Shelley got a call one October from Sheila E. asking her if she wanted to be a part of the Escovedo Latin Jazz Orchestra at their concert at Disney Concert Hall! Shelley said "let me check my Schedule..." just kidding, she instantly said, "you bet, I'm in!!"
